Diverge
Does not converge, does not settle towards some value.

When a series diverges it goes off to infinity, or it goes up and down without settling towards some value.

Example: 1+2+3+4+... diverges (it heads towards infinity)

Example: 1−1+1−1+1... diverges (it goes up and down without settling towards some value)
