Diplodocus Using Coordinates

diplodocus

You can draw a Diplodocus like this one:

You will need:

If you do not have any squared paper you can download this file in rtf format. Open it in your word processor and print it out

Once you have your materials, draw an x and y axis on the squared paper.

If you use the downloaded grid it will have to be in landscape layout (sideways).

Now plot these coordinates on the grid, and then join them up like dot to dot:

(24,18) (24,17) (22,16) (20,11) (19,6) (19,2) (17,2) (17,6)
(16,5) (15,2) (13,2) (14,5) (14,6) (12,6) (12,2) (10,2) (10,4)
(9,2) (7,2) (9,6) (7,6) (4,4) (2,3) (0,2) (1,3) (3,5) (5,9)
(9,11) (17,11) (21,17) (23,18)

You can then draw in any detail you wish and paint your diplodocus as you want.
