Amplitude, Wavelength and Frequency Animation

Have you ever watched ripples on a pond, or wiggled a jump rope up and down? You were making waves!

Try changing the sliders and watch what happens:

• Amplitude: the height of the wave from its center line. Taller waves have a higher amplitude
• Wavelength: the distance from one peak to the next
• Frequency: how many waves pass by in one second
