There are many fractal patterns available on the internet. This is not an attempt to emulate these sites. These fractals can be made in the classrom using winlogo. The sierpinski gasket can be made using nothing more than an understanding of the formula to calculate the midpoint of a line.

The binary tree is simply a pictorial expresion of 2ⁿ⁺¹
