Where someone lies, twists the truth, or doesn't tell important facts for financial or personal gain.
Fraud comes in many forms:
Example: A stranger sold Alex a new-looking bike for $200, but didn't tell Alex it had lots of rust covered by putty and paint.
Example: The dealer paid Sam only $10 for a watch they knew was a valuable antique.
Example: Some companies promise to give you a great career as a model if you pay $500 for their course, but there is really no job at the end.
Example: Someone buys your bike but sends you too much money as a check. They ask for the extra money to be sent back right away. A few days later the original check is rejected by the bank and you have lost your bike and any cash you sent them.
