Perpendicular Planes

Perpendicular Planes

It is the idea that the two planes are at right angles.

Two planes are perpendicular if one plane contains a line that is perpendicular to the other plane.

• A line is perpendicular to a plane if it is at a right angle (90°) with every line it intersects in that plane.

• If one plane contains a line that is perpendicular to the second plane, then the two planes are perpendicular to each other.
