Reciprocal

Reciprocal
The reciprocal of a number is: 1 divided by the number

Examples:

• the reciprocal of 2 is 1/2 (half)
• the reciprocal of 10 is 1/10 (=0.1)

Every number has a reciprocal except 0 (1/0 is undefined)

The reciprocal can be shown with a little "-1" like this: 1/x = x-1

Also called the "Multiplicative Inverse"
