Units of volume include:

10x4x5 cuboid

Example: measured in meters (m):

The volume of this cuboid is 10 m × 4 m × 5 m = 200 m3

Volumes of Common 3D Shapes

The volume of a Sphere:

Sphere Radius
Volume = 4 3 × π × r3

Also see Volume and Area of a Sphere.

The volume of a Cone:

cone dimensions h=height, r=radius, s=side length
Volume = 1 3 π × r2 × h

The volume of a Cylinder:

Cylinder Dimensions: r=radius, h=height
Volume = π × r2 × h
